Cleaning with Vinegar
Vinegar is always in your pantry. It adds flavor to any dish you make. Aside from being an indispensable cooking companion, vinegar can also help you clean. Did you know that vinegar actually kills germs in the home and is a natural cleansing agent so does not harm the earth around you? Here are some ways you can use vinegar during cleaning:
- Dilute vinegar in water (50:50) and use it to clean your refrigerator walls and shelves.
- Combine salt and vinegar (50:50) and use it to scrub the stains off teacups and coffee cups.
- Dampen a cloth with vinegar and use it for eliminating odors in plastic containers and surfaces.
- Remove odors and stains from your clothes by rubbing them gently with vinegar.
